THE Retirement Living Council has elected Alison Quinn as its new president.
Quinn is the chief executive officer of Retire Australia.
She succeeds outgoing president Derek McMillan, who has held the role since the formation of the council in 2013.
Quinn paid tribute to her predecessor for his work as the inaugural president of the council.
“Derek has been at the forefront of our work of ensuring the proven benefits of retirement villages in extending the independence and wellbeing of their residents are recognised throughout the community,” Quinn said.
