DEXUS Property Group has been recognised on the CDP Climate A List, one of only two Australian companies in a group of 113 corporations.
Dexus joins global corporations including Google, Unilever and Simon Property Group on the CDP 2015 A List, maintaining its position on the A List for the third consecutive year.
Of the 1,997 companies which submitted data to CDP, DEXUS was one of only two Australian companies in a group of 113 corporations which achieved an ‘A’ grade for environmental performance.
Dexus CEO Darren Steinberg said the group have made a commitment to further reduce energy consumption and emissions with the aim of achieving a 40% reduction in emissions intensity from 2008 levels by 2020.
“We have also committed to delivering 1,000,000 sqm of office space with a minimum 5 star NABERS Energy rating in the same timeframe,” he aded.
DEXUS also achieved 100% or full disclosure for its emissions reporting.
