CBRE has recruited valuer Peter Honnef to its agribusiness valuations team.
Honnef has joined CBRE as a director and will be based in Townsville. He brings over 20 years of experience in valuations with expertise in the beef, sugar, aquaculture, horticulture and broad hectare farming sectors.
Prior to joining CBRE, Peter owned and operated Honnef North Australian Valuations for seven years, which specialised in agribusiness, hospitality and commercial valuations. Prior to that, he was a director at Herron Todd White Townsville.
“Peter’s extensive experience in Queensland will enhance CBRE’s ability to service our clients in this market. Peter’s broad agricultural experience has given him a real understanding of what the drivers are for agribusinesses and the ability to deliver outstanding results for our clients,” CBRE agribusiness senior director Tim McKinnon said.
“CBRE Agribusiness has identified northern Australian agriculture, in particular beef, as a real growth opportunity and are developing a team of experts to serve our clients’ needs in this sector,” McKinnon said.
