KNIGHT Frank is expanding its presence in the residential market with acquisition of Melbourne-based Look Property Group.
As part of the deal, Look’s managing director Michael Robinson will join Knight Frank as head of residential project marketing for Australia.
Knight Frank CEO Stephen Ellis said with over 20 years’ experience in the real estate industry, including 10 years at Mirvac, Robinson has extensive knowledge and experience of project marketing and the residential property market.
“Globally, Knight Frank is a leader in the residential market and we want a bigger presence in Australia’s market.
“The key to expanding Knight Frank is hiring the right leaders and Robinson has already shown he can build a highly regarded residential project marketing business,” Ellis said.
Managing director for Victoria James Templeton said Look Property Group has handled some significant projects in Melbourne including The Hawksburn in South Yarra; Silverleaf in South Melbourne; The Cotery in Northcote; and Guild in Southbank.
“The appointment of Robinson is fundamental to growing our project marketing division and whilst he will be based in Melbourne, he will be responsible for driving Knight Frank’s project marketing team nationally,” Templeton said.
