SAVILLS has strengthened its Victorian valuation and consultancy business with the appointment of Cameron Mason.
Mason joins Savills from the National Australia Bank, where he held a senior position in research analysis and valuations.
Whilst his primary focus has been the retail sector, he also has experience in development finance, property risk and financial structuring involving built form residential, land subdivision, and major traditional asset classes.
Savills Victorian director valuation & consultancy Joe Phegan said the appointment would add considerably to Savills’ capacity to respond to the requirements of a growing valuations client base.
“Cameron’s appointment will no doubt significantly enhance the capacity of the Valuations team. His understanding of property risk and quality assurance procedures are particularly relevant in supporting our growing capability and focus on bank-instructed valuations.
“We are delighted to have been able to secure the services of a very highly regarded candidate from an equally highly regarded institution,” Phegan said.
This is Savills’ second appointment to the valuation team in a month after Damien Abela in July.
