THE HIA has elected Bruce Robb as the Queensland president.
HIA QLD executive director Warwick Temby said Robb will be a real asset to HIA and brings approximately 40 years’ experience in the industry.
“Bruce is the general manager for Kalka, a small lot specialist house builder in Brisbane and a director of an associated company, Buildus, a multi residential builder.
“With an involvement with HIA that extends for more than a decade Bruce is well placed to guide HIA’s policy directions in Queensland,” Temby concluded.
Bruce said his focus will be on helping to make the industry become more professional and efficient.
“I hope that I am able to meet the very high standard that was set for HIA President by my predecessor Debbie Johnson,” Robb concluded.
At the same time, Shaun Haswell, the general manager for Gold Coast-based Hallmark Homes was elected vice president.
