COLLIERS International has started the year with the appointment of three national directors to the capital markets team.
Colliers capital markets and investments services managing director John Marasco announced the appointment of Adam Woodward, Tom Barr and Don Mackenzie.
The team will grow to 20 agents nationally.
“Colliers International’s capital markets team will expand in 2015 as it prepares for continued strength in the market, following a record year which saw our national team transact in excess of $5 billion in office, industrial and retail property.
“I am pleased to announce the growth of our capital markets team. 2015 is shaping up to be a year of strong growth again for Australian property, with interest from both onshore and offshore groups increasing,” Marasco said.
Adam Woodward joins the Sydney office, following eight years at AMP Capital within the capital transactions team, where he personally managed 66 transactions totalling over $3.9 billion in value.
Tom Barr and Don Mackenzie have joined the Brisbane team.
“Tom and Don bring with them a longstanding presence in the Brisbane market, having 11 and 12 years’ industry experience respectively. Between them, they have been involved in some of Brisbane’s largest sales and leasing transactions and have established themselves as market leaders in the commercial property field,” Marasco said.
