CBRE has appointed former AFL player Nick Lower to its Melbourne City Sales team.
Lower played for Port Adelaide, Fremantle Dockers and Western Bulldogs for over eight years and will join Mark Wizel and Josh Rutman.
Rutman said Lower’s appointment was a major boon to the team.
“CBRE’s City Sales has seen unprecedented growth over the past 18 months and we plan to bolster our client service offering by bringing Nick on board.
“Nick will add strength to our team by focusing on the sub $20 million CBD commercial and retail market,” he added.
Lower joined the agency last year as part of the residential projects team, before recently transitioning to the commercial sector.
“During my AFL career I did work experience with the city sales team. I loved the enthusiasm and passion of the team and was eager to get my foot in the door to work in such a great environment.
“When a position opened up with the residential projects team, I grabbed it with both hands, and again jumped at the opportunity to secure a position in the city sales team when it arose this year,” Lower said.
