JLL has strengthened its consulting and advisory services team with the appointment of James Kennedy.
Kennedy will join JLL as a director after three years with KPMG’s real estate advisory services.
JLL’s managing director of investments and advisory Australia John Talbot said Kennedy brings to JLL strong credentials in state and federal government consulting and the licensed club sector.
“James is a senior industry practitioner with 25 years in real estate advisory services to corporates and government. We welcome the broad experience he brings to JLL, particularly in the government consulting space which will add to the extensive work we are already doing for government agencies.
“Adding James as a specialist in government to our team represents another initiative to better service our clients’ needs. Governments across Australia are looking to their underlying real estate portfolios to drive better returns for the public benefit,” he added.
Kennedy will be based in JLL’s Sydney office. He holds a Master of Business and Technology from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Arts (Honours) from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.
