BROOKFIELD Multiplex has won a contract from Central Equity to construct Melbourne One, a $120 million residential tower in Melbourne's CBD.
Located at 612 – 622 Lonsdale St, the 47-level tower will comprise 477 apartments.
Brookfield Multiplex regional managing director Victoria Graham Cottam said this appointment reflects the group’s ongoing relationship with Central Equity, which has seen 14 apartment buildings completed over the last 16 years.
Other Melbourne CBD apartment buildings that Brookfield Multiplex has delivered include Mainpoint Apartments, Southbank One, Southbank Grand, Southbank Towers, Boulevarde Apartments, Sovereign Apartments, Kings Park on Southbank and City Tempo Apartments.
“We have extensive experience in delivering high-rise residential on complex CBD sites, with 44 high rise apartment towers delivered in Victoria since 1995 and a further six currently under construction,” he added.
Construction works have commenced on Melbourne One with completion slated for July, 2016.
