BROOKFIELD Multiplex has completed Cbus Property’s new $440 million office building at 720 Bourke St in Docklands.
The A grade office space is certified for a Six Star Green Star Office Design v3 rating and targeting a 5 star NABERS rating.
The 22-level building comprises 47,000 sqm of space and will be home to private healthcare provider Medibank.
“720 Bourke St is an impressive building that stands out on the Docklands skyline. The complexity of the project was managed in collaboration with our client Cbus Property to deliver an outstanding commercial building,” Brookfield Multiplex Victoria’s managing director Graham Cottam said.
Designed by Hassell Architects the building is constructed of quality materials and ESD elements include under floor air distribution, BMS and controlled mechanical and electrical systems, green planting, recycled water use, a trigeneration system, photo voltaic cells on the roof and a 230,000 litre storage tank for rainwater catchment and irrigation.
