KNIGHT Frank has bolstered its retail leasing team in Sydney with the appointment of Michael Hanscomb as a director.
Michael has spent the last nine years specialising in CBD retail leasing at CBRE and has negotiated deals with international luxury brands including Hermes, Gucci, Ermenegildo Zegna, Tag Heuer and Longchamp.
He has also negotiated leases with other well-known brands such as Top Shop, Adidas, Scotch & Soda and TM Lewin.
In the food and beverage sector, he negotiated deals involving Jamie’s Italian (by Jamie Oliver) and River Bar (by Matt Moran, Peter Sullivan and Solotel Group).
Hanscomb will work closely with Alex Alamsyah, who has been involved with major transactions in Sydney including Louis Vuitton, Uniqlo, Hugo Boss, Rolex, Brooks Brothers, Lululemon, Tommy Bahama, Marimekko, Seed, Mont Blanc and Tag Heuer, just to name a few.
Alamsyah said Handscomb appointment positions Knight Frank as the most experienced CBD Retail Leasing resource in Australia.
“We are confident that given Alex’s clear status as the leading retail leasing agent in Sydney, coupled with Michael’s stellar track record in Australian CBD leasing, will position Knight Frank as the Premier Retail leasing agency on the East Coast,” Knight Frank’s managing director NSW Richard Horne said.
