CBRE has appointed Dr. Henry Chin as the new head of research for Asia Pacific after Dr. Nick Axford was promoted to the newly created role as global head of research.
Dr. Chin, who will join CBRE in February, has approximately 10 years’ experience and was most recently Pramerica Real Estate’s head of research and strategy for Asia Pacific.
Prior to that, he served as Co-Head of Real Estate, Asia Pacific, for Deutsche Bank’s Private Wealth Management division in Hong Kong; Global Real Estate and Infrastructure Strategist for a major Asian Sovereign Wealth Fund; Global Alternative Investment Strategist for RREEF – Deutsche Bank Hong Kong and Global Real Estate Strategist for RREEF – Deutsche Bank London.
CBRE Asia Pacific CEO and chairman Rob Blain aid Dr. Chin’s appointment followed an extensive search for the right candidate to assume the Asia Pacific leadership role and continue to advance CBRE’s position as the region’s leading real estate authority.
In his new role Dr. Chin will be based in CBRE’s Hong Kong office
