LEND Lease Communities has appointed Anthony Rowbottam as general manager in Western Australia.
Rowbottam will be responsible for leading the group’s community projects, including Alkimos Beach and Coolbellup, and looking for new business opportunities in WA.
He brings 25 years of experience and previously held a number of leadership positions with Delfin, Urban Pacific and Brookfield Multiplex, where he built a national portfolio of 15,000 lots.
Most recently he was director and co-owner of Acuitus, a specialised advisory firm assisting foreign investors in the Australian residential market.
Rowbottam said he is focused on gaining new business in WA for Lend Lease.
“Western Australia, like many states, has a housing shortage issue and with the increase in population that is projected, the state is going to need more urban infill and greenfield developments to go ahead.
“With our partners, LandCorp, we are developing some exciting projects in WA. Alkimos Beach is simply one of the best beach environments on the coast and you can see buyers understand the vision of what will become a very special community,” he added.
