CBRE announced Rhys Harvey will relocate from Singapore to Sydney to take on the role of deputy managing director of CBRE’s global corporate services business in Australia and New Zealand.
Harvey currently heads CBRE’s GCS business in South East Asia.
The appointment follows the recent announcement that Chris Hynes would be taking over the leadership of CBRE’s GCS in Pacific early next year following the retirement of Peter Messenger after 35 years in the industry.
CBRE President & CEO, Australia & New Zealand, Tom Southern said Harvey has an exceptional track record, with 17 years’ experience in Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Meanwhile the GCS leadership role in South East Asia will be assumed by Hugh Hamilton, who has over 20 years’ experience and was most recently senior director and head of occupier services for DTZ in Asia Pacific.
