THE NSW Police Force has appointed Brookfield Johnson Controls to manage the law enforcement agency's property portfolio following a competitive tender campaign.
This is the fifth major appointment for the company since it was formed in February this year.
The contract will support the NSW Police Force which has 20,000 staff covering 801,600 sqm across NSW. The contract will see Brookfield Johnson Controls’ grow to manage more than 5.6 million sqm of property and infrastructure around Australia and New Zealand.
In addition to the NSW Police Force appointment, the company has been appointed to four other major property portfolios and now supports an additional 36,000 customers and manages an extra 1,760,000 sqm.
As a result, Brookfield Johnson Controls has recently engaged close to 100 additional staff since starting up.
Managing director and president Jon McCormick said the company is projected to deliver an annual revenue of over $280 million this year and is well on its way to double its core business in the next five years.
“We have an aggressive growth plan to be leaders in the Australian and New Zealand property and facilities management market. These new portfolios demonstrate the market’s confidence in Brookfield Johnson Controls’ ability to deliver through a strong local presence enhanced by our global experience and reach.
“We have had great success building on our client relationships to secure these accounts. Our ability to make life easier for our clients and enable them to focus on their core business by getting on with ours is what puts us front of mind in the industry for integrated property portfolio management,” McCormick said.
