CBRE has appointed Daniel Queenan as the new chief operating officer in Asia Pacific.
Queenan will work closely with CEO Robert Blain to run the business in the region. He will also join CBRE’s Asia Pacific strategy group.
He will be based in CBRE’s Hong Kong office and will relocate there from Chicago with his wife, Katie, and their two daughters.
Queenan is a 19-year veteran of the real estate industry and has served since 2011 as CEO of Trammell Crow Company, CBRE’s real estate development subsidiary. He will retain overall responsibility for the development business, continuing as its CEO.
Prior to joining Trammell Crow Company in 2010, he was president and CEO of US real estate development company Opus North Corporation.
Queenan is a graduate of Marquette University and William Mitchell College of Law. He serves on CBRE’s global operating committee, is a past president of the Chicago chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and serves on the advisory board of the Marquette University Business School.
