FITZROYS has made a key appointment to its valuation and advisory services division.
Ray Berryman will head up the team and join the board of directors.
Fitzroys director David Bourke said Berryman is a well regarded and respected property professional and brings over 25 years of experience.
“He will provide key and strategic advice to Fitzroys’ clients, as well as continuing to expand and further develop this important area of Fitzroys’ client services,” Bourke said.
Berryman has gained valuable experience in Local Government and private practice, having spent 10 years with the City of Melbourne, including five of those as city valuer, and overseeing nearly $100 million in rate revenue.
More recently, he has held senior positions with Urbis and as a division director of valuations at Savills, handling numerous rating appeals, compulsory acquisitions and valuations of larger bulky good retail outlets.
“As the market continues to evolve, the importance of obtaining strategic professional valuation advice is paramount to ensure informed decisions can then be made. Ray’s appointment continues Fitzroy’s commitment to providing our clients with accurate valuation advice and strategic corporate advisory services across a broad range of property types,” Bourke concluded.
