MIRVAC has started construction of the $10 million second stage of Orion Springfield Central ‘The Circuit’.
The first stage of ‘The Circuit’ development was completed in December 2012 and welcomed Supercheap Auto, KFC, Kmart Tyre and Auto and Bridgestone Select to the Centre.
Mirvac’s retail general manager Susan MacDonald said the second stage will include new major retailers, Hogs Breath Café, Amart Sports and BCF.
“The Greater Springfield community has warmly welcomed the new additions to Orion and we are looking forward to opening the second stage later this year,” she added.
Stage two of ‘The Circuit’ comprises three buildings with a total gross lettable area of 3,350 sqm. Construction is expected to take around nine months to complete, which should see the new stores opening in late 2013.
Local Councillor, David Morrison said the new additions have been well received by the community.
