SOUTH Australia-based surveying consultancy Alexander Symonds has appointed Glenn Hordacre as the new managing director.
After joining Alexander Symonds in 1985, Hordacre has been a director of the firm since 1998 and takes over the managing director role from company stalwart Jim Curnow, who will remain as chairman and as a company director.
Curnow, who passes the baton after 24 years as managing drector, said the time is right to evolve the company’s leadership structure.
“Glenn is a highly experienced surveyor and company director whose skills and outstanding industry knowledge will ensure Alexander Symonds remains one of the top surveying consultancies in the country,” Curnow said.
Alexander Symonds has also appointed long-serving engineering surveyor Russell Siegert as a new company director, joining Hordacre, Curnow and fellow directors Malcolm Driver, Mark Teakle, Mark Williams and Franco Rea on the management team.
