LASALLE Investment Management has appointed Elisabeth Stheeman as the new global chief operating officer.
Stheeman appointment follows the retirement of Kim Woodrow, after 31 years.
“Kim is part of the LaSalle family and always will be, and I know his commitment to the future of this firm will hugely benefit the transition process. It’s difficult for me to express adequate thanks for so many years of dedicated service,” LaSalle global CEO Jeff Jacobson said.
Stheeman is a highly experienced COO with more than 20 years of extensive operating experience in a sophisticated global institution. She is a veteran of Morgan Stanley in London, where she most recently held the position of COO in their investment manking division focused on real estate and natural resources.
Since joining Morgan Stanley in 1988, Stheeman has held a number of key roles including COO of real estate investing within MSREF, and also worked in a COO capacity for the organization’s financial institutions group.
Prior to Morgan Stanley, Stheeman was at Vereins und Westbank in Hamburg, Germany. She is a graduate of the London School of Economics where she earned her Diploma of Business Studies, and Wirtschaftsakademie Hamburg where she earned her Bachelor in Business Administration.
