CBRE Hotels has appointed Accor veteran Neil Scanlan to further strengthen its national hotel brokerage team.
Scanlan has over 30 years of experience, including 18 years in senior management roles with global hospitality giant Accor Hotels.
“We have become increasingly active at the top end of the Australian hotel investment market and Neil’s appointment will allow us to further strengthen our position in this sector,” CBRE Hotels senior director Wayne Bunz said.
Scanlan most recently as served Accor’s general manager Franchise Hotels. His other roles have included serving as regional general manager, Queensland; general manager Sofitel Brisbane; regional general manager NZ and Fiji; general manager Novotel and Ibis Sydney Olympic Park and general manager Mercure Resort Surfers Paradise.
In his new role, he will be based in CBRE’s Brisbane CBRE office at Waterfront Place.
