CBRE has opened a residential valuations business in Tasmania and appointed Matthew Cody to head up the division.
CBRE’s residential valuations regional director Tom Edwards said the addition of the Hobart office was an important step in the expansion of the division to offer national coverage.
“Matthew is highly credentialed and his extensive experience will add significant value to our residential valuations business as we continue to expand to service growing client demand,” he added.
Cody has over 20 years of experience, having undertaken residential valuations for a range of major lenders.
“Lenders in Australia are increasingly looking to rationalise the number of firms on their valuation panels and are showing a clear preference for organisations that can offer wider geographic coverage and established quality assurance processes,” Edwards said.
“We are actively expanding our residential valuation business throughout the region with the aim of providing our clients with national residential valuations coverage throughout Australia,” Edwards said.
