CHILD care operator G8 Education Limited has successfully completed an institutional placement of 30.790 million shares at $1.15 to raise $35.4 million.
The issue has been managed by Petra Capital Pty Ltd.
G8 Education’s managing director Chris Scott said the placement was significantly oversubscribed.
Scott said proceeds raised through the placement will be used primarily to fund the acquisition of 16 child care centres.
