THE City of Melbourne has appointed Pauline Lawson as the new valuations manager within the property services branch.
Lawson is an associate of the Australian Property Institute and has vast experience in statutory valuation roles having previously worked at the Cities of Casey, Whitehorse and Greater Dandenong as well as Shire of Bass Coast.
She was Chair of the Municipal Group of Valuers in 2010-11 as well as being a Divisional Member of the API Council in 2010.
City of Melbourne branch manager of property services Greg Stevens said Lawson is an excellent recruitment for the council.
“Pauline has a detailed understanding of computer assisted valuation techniques which will greatly assist our transition to new valuation modelling for 2014 general valuation and beyond. Her depth of experience will compliment the excellent knowledge of the group and she is a most welcome member of the capital city valuation team,” Stevens said.
