CBUS Property’s 700 Bourke St project has been awarded a 6 Star Green Star – Office Design v3 rating by the Green Building Council of Australia.
The 63,000 building which has secured the National Australia Bank as the sole tenant, achieved the 6 Star Green Star rating under the latest upgrade.
“We are pleased to add to previous sustainability successes this achievement of 6 Star Green Star – Office Design v3 rating on the 700 Bourke St with Cbus Property and the design team, a great collaborative sustainability outcome in our role as the Design and Construction Contractor for the project,” Brookfield Multiplex Constructions regional managing director Graham Milford-Cottam said.
Cbus Property CEO Adrian Pozzo said 700 Bourke St takes Cbus Property’s total of Green Star certified or registered office space to more than 300,000 sqm.
“Cbus Property’s commitment is transforming our property and construction market by demonstrating why sustainability makes good business sense,” Green Building Council of Australia chief executive Romilly Madew said.
