CBRE has launched a new rating and taxing division and appointed Kate Adams to head up the business.
Adams has spent five years with m3property and three years with Valuer General Victoria.
CBRE national director, valuation & advisory services, Peter Fay said the new division will assist owners and tenants in reviewing valuation-based statutory assessments which are utilised to levy Rates and Land Tax.
“In the current market it has become increasingly apparent that the active management of statutory outgoings is essential to enhance overall property performance. The establishment of our Rating and Taxing division will help expand upon our existing service offering in this area.
“Kate brings a wealth of property experience, having worked with a range of institutional clients and private investors carrying out advisory assignments throughout Australia,” he added.
