LAW firm Freehills has advised Goodman Group on its global partnership with Malaysia’s Employees Provident Fund.
The Freehills team was led by partner Greg Hing, senior associate Barry Walker and solicitor Nicholas Lazarou.
Hing said this transaction marks a significant milestone for Goodman Group and will provide a steady income stream supporting the group’s international expansion.
Under this agreement, there will be investment in an initial Australian portfolio of circa $400 million to create a global logistics relationship. Goodman Group will also contribute equity to the relationship on an initial 40/60 basis, with EPF holding the majority share.
Baker & McKenzie acted for the purchaser on this transaction.
