CBRE has promoted Tania Moore to the role of managing director of its Gold Coast office.
As a result Mark Witheriff will be taking on a new role as senior director of agency for Queensland.
CBRE QLD senior managing director Bruce Baker said the leadership changes would assist in further strengthening the agency’s platform.
“After 13 years as our Gold Coast managing director, Mark was keen to take on a new challenge.
“Mark has been with CBRE for 25 years and is by far and away the leading property agent on the Gold Coast, with a wide ranging breadth of experience. While he will continue to support the Gold Coast business, his new role will allow him to work on major transactions up and down the Queensland coast with a particular focus on the insolvency market,” Baker said.
Witheriff has been involved in over $1 billion worth of transactions in recent years, including the high profile sales of the Royal Pines Resort & Golf Course, Sheraton Mirage and the Gold Coast Corporate Centre – an office complex he has sold three times over.
Moore has over 10 years experience in CBRE’s Gold Coast office and has run the firm’s Gold Coast agency business since 2009.
“Tania has over 10 years experience in our Gold Coast office and has effectively been Mark’s 2IC for the past five years. She is also an extremely capable broker who has concluded all the major office lease transactions in the Gold Coast market over the past six years, including two of the largest deals ever negotiated,” Baker said.
