RESIDENTIAL developer Devine Limited has appointed a new chairman, Peter Dransfield, following the decision by Doug Ridley to step down.
Ridley will step down from the role at the end of June, however he will remain as a director.
Ridley joined the board of Devine in January 1999 and has served two terms as chairman, in an interim capacity from March 2005 to November 2006 and then from 1 November 2008 to the present.
Dransfield is well known in the property industry having formerly held senior executive positions with Australand and Walker Corporation and was a director of the Multiplex Group of companies and director of Housing for the NSW Government and is a director of listed company, Bremer Park Limited.
He is also an adviser to Grant Samuel Property and a director of Macquarie Real Estate Equity Fund.
