PROPERTY developer Port Bouvard has received approval from the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities for its 3,000-lot Point Grey project.
Point Grey is set on a 275 ha site on the waterfront peninsula setting, surrounded by the Peel Inlet and the Harvey Estuary in the Shire of Murray, approximately 20kms west of the Pinjarra town site and 15kms south east of the Mandurah city centre.
“We are delighted to have received this final approval for the residential component of Point Grey from the Commonwealth Government. It is a major milestone and significant value driver for the company, representing the final residential approval for the 3,000-lot community and should prove to be an important component in securing the company’s longer term funding requirements,” Port Bouvard CEO Johnno Wroth said.
“The company has worked closely with both the State and Commonwealth agencies over the last three years to ensure the highest level of environmental outcomes will be delivered on this unique project,” he added.
Wroth said work will start on the development once the company sources the required capital funds and witnesses a steady improvement in residential property market conditions.
