SAVILLS project management has appointed former Grocon national new business coordinator Emma Crothers to the new position of administration and marketing coordinator.
According to Savills project management general manager Stuart Verrier, who also recently left Grocon, Crothers will focus on the company’s business development requirements.
“Emma comes to us with a wealth of experience in this area following a five year stint at Grocon where, in her national role, she developed invaluable links with many senior industry stakeholders at the same time as co-ordinating a highly successful new business team,” he added.
It may come as a surprise that Crothers’ skill set also includes crocodile, bearded dragon and canine handling capabilities.
Her pets include a crocodile named Brock (who barracks for North Melbourne), Stevie the bearded dragon (Essendon), named after Steve Irwin, Archie the poodle (also North), and a goldfish which, oddly, does not follow AFL.
Ten year old and 1.5 metre, Brock the croc, lives in a purpose-built, temperature-controlled, backyard enclosure, eats rats and organic chicken (Steve Irwin would not have supported the Battery Hen industry) and loves chasing the gold fish.
