SAVILLS Queensland has strengthened its Brisbane team with two new high-profile recruits.
DTZ Brisbane former managing director Anthony Ott has joined Savills as head of agency.
His main focus will be on the co-ordination and development of the office, retail and industrial sales and leasing services offered by Savills in Queensland, as well as divisional director for the capital transactions team.
Ott established DTZ in Brisbane, where he also held the role of chairman of DTZ’s national executive, he is also a former director of agency at PRD nationwide and director of leasing at Colliers International.
“I have observed over the last two to three years a very positive improvement in the Savills profile and track record and I believe there is great opportunity for the business to position itself as a clear top three firm,” he said. “That’s what has attracted me to this new role and I am looking forward to contributing to their ongoing success.”
Steve de Nys, former managing director of desyn Property Pty Ltd, has joined Savills Queensland as joint head of industrial.
He is a former national director of industrial and Queensland head of industrial for Jones Lang LaSalle.
Savills QLD managing director Matthew Buckley said the two new appointments add valuable high-level experience, knowledge and contacts to Savills agency team.
