GOODMAN Group has appointed Philip Fan as an independent director.
Fan is currently a non executive director of Hong Kong listed China Everbright International.
He holds a bachelors degree in industrial engineering and a masters degree in operations research from Stanford University, as well as a masters degree in management science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
“Given our significant international focus it is desirable for the Group to diversify the skill set of the Board by looking to introduce a new member with Asian experience, particularly in our markets of Hong Kong and China,” Goodman chairman Ian Ferrier said. “We were searching for a candidate who could bring knowledge of the Chinese business culture and processes along with property expertise and we strongly believe that Philip brings this to the Board.”
