CBRE has recruited leading insolvency practitioner and former Waratahs player Simon Kasprowicz as head of client development for the banking, finance and insolvency sectors.
Kasprowicz joins CBRE from chartered accounting firm Taylor Woodings, where he has specialised in business development in the banking and finance sector; managed various insolvency appointments.
CBRE Australia & New Zealand president & CEO Tom Southern said the appointment would bolster the firm’s established receivership platform and ultimately drive the firm’s broader banking strategy as part of CBRE’s overall client development program.
“In the past three years this team has negotiated the sale of over 200 distressed assets with a combined value of over $1 billion and we see considerable scope to expand our service offering in the short to medium term,” Southern said.
Kasprowicz will officially join CBRE in January as director, banking, finance & insolvency.
