CB Richard Ellis has been ranked as the greenest real estate company in 2011 by US weekly news magazine, Newsweek.
The list measures the environmental performance of the 500 largest US publicly traded companies.
CBRE has been the highest ranked real estate company in each of the three years that Newsweek has published its rankings.
CEO Brett White said the ranking reflects the firm’s commitment to leading the rapidly evolving sustainability market in both operations and client service.
Earlier this year, CBRE achieved its goal of carbon neutrality in its own operations for 2010.
