HANSEN Yuncken has expanded its Queensland operations with the opening of a new office in Brisbane.
State manager Tony Swan has moved from Cairns to head up the Brisbane office. He has been replaced in the Cairns office by Greg Baumann.
Swan said Hansen Yuncken’s growth in the region since it entered the market four years ago had exceeded expectations.
“Securing the Cairns Airport redevelopment contract in 2007 has been the catalyst for us to make our mark in Queensland.
“The Brisbane office is already in charge of overseeing the delivery of the $90 million Rockhampton Hospital Stage 2 development,” he added.
The new Brisbane office is located at 15 Malt St in Fortitude Valley.
New Cairns regional manager, Greg Baumann, said he was looking forward to the challenge of continuing the company’s growth in Far North Queensland.
Baumann began his career with Hansen Yuncken in 1993 as a graduate, and has continued to progress to more challenging roles within the company.
