COLLIERS International has appointed project marketer Tony Holland to head up its residential property division on the Gold Coast.
Holland returns to Colliers in September and brings more than 25 years of management experience, including a decade in the local Gold Coast property industry.
He was most recently a director of project marketing at CB Richard Ellis and prior to that he was with PRDnationwide, a subsidiary business of Colliers International.
“Tony’s vast experience in the local market and beyond and his subsequent understanding of the residential business and business strategies of major Queensland developers will no doubt be crucial to his success in this role,” Colliers residential managing director Peter Chittenden said.
“My number one priority is to ensure that Colliers International builds upon its reputation for having the strongest residential sales and marketing business on the Gold Coast and providing the best selling solution to each of our clients,” Holland said.
“There is no disputing that residential market conditions on the Gold Coast are currently challenging, however, we cannot lose sight of the fact that the region has been the fastest growing in Australia over the past 30 years and that people love our climate, love our lifestyle, and continue to want to live here.
“The fundamentals remain strong, with a number of large infrastructure projects underway, new apartment supply diminishing, and continuing solid migration numbers,” he added.
