SAVILLS Australia has appointed Jonathan McKenzie to head up a new national residential projects division.
McKenzie will be responsible for driving Savills expansion in the residential projects sector across Australia and brings extensive project marketing experience having previously formed Colliers national residential project marketing business in the 1990s.
Savills Australia CEO Paul McLean said the appointment highlights Savills strong focus on delivering a specialist residential projects service to the Australian market.
“This appointment aims to accelerate the momentum that Savills has been building in the Sydney residential market in recent years, while also providing a platform for the expansion of our specialist residential projects service to other Australian cities,” he added. “It is also designed to capitalise on the increased demand for residential accommodation in all Australian capital cities forecast over next 10 years, in particular the strong interest from offshore Asian investors.”
McKenzie will work in conjunction with Savills national head of residential Shayne Harris.
