BROOKFIELD’S One Shelley St property has received a 6 Star Green Star rating from the Green Building Council of Australia, making it the 10th building in Australia to achieve this certification.
The 11-storey building comprises 33,000 sqm of space and is owned and operated by Brookfield Office Properties. It is fully leased to Macquarie Group.
One Shelley St has won numerous awards for innovation and sustainability including the Australian Property Institute Excellence in Property Award in 2009, Master Builders Association Excellence in Construction – Best Use of Steel Award in 2009, The Australian Institute of Building National and NSW Professional Excellence Award for Commercial Construction over $100 million in 2009, the Property Council of Australia Rider Levett Bucknall Innovation and Excellence Awards in 2010, the Australian Steel Institute Architectural Steel Design Award, the Structural Engineering Steel Design Award and Multi-level Steel Design Award in 2010 and Engineers Australia Excellence Award in 2010.
