THE Federal Government has provided sponsorship for the development of the Green Building Council of Australia’s Green Star – Communities rating tool.
Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, the Hon Anthony Albanese MP said the project will reinforce the government’s aspirations for more productive, sustainable and liveable cities.
The Green Star – Communities project is set to become a national voluntary rating tool to encourage the best practice planning, design and construction of communities, precincts and places across Australia.
GBCA chief executive Romilly Madew said the sponsorship is a defining moment moment for the future planning, design and construction of our communities and cities in Australia.
