INTERNATIONAL sustainability and engineering services consultancy Cundall has been named Sustainable Consultant of the Year at the annual Building Magazine Sustainability Awards, held in association with the UK Green Building Council.
Cundall was also the runner up in the Sustainable Designer of the Year category.
CEO Simon Wild said the prestigious industry award demonstrates the strength of Cundall’s sustainability credentials on an international basis.
“This award is further recognition of Cundall’s innovative thinking and practical approach to sustainability at a global level. We are market leaders in sustainable vision, strategy and capacity building, having played key roles in a wide range of iconic projects across the UK and Europe as well as Barangaroo, Green Square and Rouse Hill Town Centre in Australia,” he added.
In declaring Cundall winner of the Sustainable Consultant of the Year award, Building wrote: “This multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is marked out by its thorough approach to sustainability.
“The firm’s projects are clustered at the top end of sustainability ratings such as BREEAM, LEED and Green Star. The judges liked Cundall’s enthusiasm: it practises what it preaches, they said, and made “an excellent contribution to the industry”.”
