QIC Global Real Estate has completed the $90 million expansion of the Robina Town Centre with the opening of a new two-level Myer, a speciality retail mall, additional parking facilities.
“The opening of Myer completes the latest phase of development in QIC Global Real Estate’s multi-stage expansion of Robina Town Centre, totalling $400 million over the past three years,” QIC head of global real estate Robert Carter said.
The new two-level Myer department store was developed on the site of the Robina Town Centre’s original cinema complex, which has relocated to its new lakeside premises at the centre.
As part of the expansion, an additional two levels of parking were added to the Arbour Lane car park, increasing the total number of parking bays at the centre to more than 6,500.
Robina Town Centre is located adjacent to the $1 billion Varsity Lakes mixed-use community and Bond University, and is nearby to the 25,000 seat Skilled Park Stadium as well as Robina Hospital.
The centre now boasts more than 350 speciality retailers, including the Gold Coast’s only David Jones, Apple Retail Store and Borders, as well as Big W, Target, Kmart, Coles, two Woolworths, the Promenade Lakeside Dining Precinct and Event Cinemas.
