HANSEN Yuncken has been named Victoria’s Master Builder of the Year in the 2010 Master Builders Excellence in Construction Awards.
Hansen Yuncken won a total of four awards from the Master Builders Association for:
• Master Builder of the Year – Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre;
• Excellence in Construction of Commercial Buildings $30-80 million – Icehouse, National Ice Sports Centre (Docklands);
• Excellence in Construction of Commercial Buildings $5-10 million – Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre; and
• Excellence in Shop & Office Fitout – EPA Accommodation Project (200 Victoria St, Melbourne).
Hansen Yuncken’s Victorian state manager Brian Cargill said the awards highlight the range of projects that Hansen Yuncken undertakes, from smaller projects in regional Victoria through to large construction works in the inner city of Melbourne, and for both ‘design and construct’ works through to internal office fitouts.
