CONSTRUCTION company Hansen Yuncken appointed Private Public Partnership (PPP) expert Brian Cargill as Victorian state manager.
Cargill is a qualified civil engineer and has close to 40 years experience in the construction industry in Australia and overseas, including 20 years with Multiplex and UK company Costain.
He has previously been involved in the construction of several iconic projects in Victoria including Federation Square, Melbourne Entertainment & Convention Centre and St Vincent’s Hospital.
“Hansen Yuncken has undergone a period of significant growth in recent years, and it is important we attract the right calibre of people to build on this growth,” Executive chairman Peter Kennedy.
“Cargill’s considerable skills at senior management level are an ideal fit as we look to the future,” he concluded.
Hansen Yuncken in Victoria is currently involved in several major construction projects, including the new Melbourne Airport control tower and BAE Shipyards upgrade, and has played a key role in many Docklands-based projects including the National Ice Sports Centre, Costco and Waterfront City retail and accommodation.
