THE joint managing directors of Charter Hall Group, David Harrison and David Southon have joined the board of responsibility entities of Charter Hall Office REIT and Retail REIT.
Charter Hall bought the management companies, which looks after the Macquarie Office Trust and Macquarie CountryWide Trust from Macquarie Group last month.
The trusts have been renamed Charter Hall Office REIT and Charter Hall Retail REIT.
Harrison has been appointed chairman of the management companies and Adrian Taylor has been appointed alternate director to both Harrison and Southon.
In addition, Dennis Leong resigned as joint company secretary and Natalie Allen will continue in her role as company secretary.
James Broadbent, Roger Davis and George Bennett will remain as independent directors.
The trust’s head office, interstate and international teams are expected to relocate to Charter Hall offices by the end of March 2010.
