LEND Lease has wooed over Scott Charlton, former CFO of Leighton, to take the newly created role of director of operations.
Charlton will report directly to CEO Steve McCann and will be responsible for managing Lend Lease’s key corporate functions including Risk and Safety, Human Resources, Legal, Finance, Corporate Affairs and Information and Communications Technology.
Charlton brings more than 21 years experience in property, construction, infrastructure and finance to Lend Lease. Throughout his six and half years at Leighton, he was responsible for treasury, M&A, investment and capital management functions and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in June 2007.
“We are delighted to have secured someone of Scott’s calibre to join our senior management team. Scott’s background and in depth knowledge of the infrastructure market will be a great asset as we continue to focus on our longer term growth strategy.
“Scott will be responsible for driving efficiency and performance across all key functions,” McCann said.
