GPT Group has renewed its board will a new appointment.
The board has appointed Dr Eileen Doyle as a director. Dr Doyle’s appointment is subject to ratification by investors at the Annual General Meeting later this year.
She will replace Ian Martin who has indicated that he will not be standing for re-election at the Annual General Meeting and accordingly will retire at the end of that meeting.
Ian was appointed to the board in 2005 and is the chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
GPT’s chairman Dr Ken Moss was pleased to attract Dr Doyle to the board.
Dr Doyle’s current directorships include One Steel Limited, Steel & Tube Limited, Hunter Valley Research Foundation, CSIRO and Ross Human Directions Limited.
Dr Doyle holds tertiary qualifications in mathematics, applied statistics (PhD) and business administration. She is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
