Concannon launches into CBRE global role

CB Richard Ellis has appointed William Concannon as the new president of global corporate services.

Concannon is charged with continuing the strong growth of this business, which has underpinned the company’s revenue diversification strategy. He succeeds Mike Lafitte, who has been named president, Americas.

Concannon is a longtime senior leader of the company’s GCS Group, most recently serving as its Vice Chairman. GCS provides integrated real estate outsourcing solutions on a contractual basis to multinational corporations, the healthcare industry, and the public sector worldwide.

He joined CBRE in December 2006 with the acquisition of Trammell Crow Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Providence College, where he serves on the Board of Trustees. Concannon also served on the board of directors of CoreNet Global.
