CHARITY group CareFlight will establish a new base in Sydney's west after paying $2.2 million for a purpose built medical facility at Northmead.
CB Richard Ellis’ Harry Bui and Stephen Panagiotopolous negotiated the sale of the 4-6 Baden St building, which is situated in the heart of a burgeoning medical precinct in western Sydney.
The group acquired the new Northmead facility from Enrocorp Pty Ltd following a recent public tender campaign.
Bui said the 1,226 sqm building occupied a highly visible site on the northern approach to the Westmead Hospital precinct.
The two level building comprises 11 consulting rooms, two reception areas, large balconies, a hospital grade lift and secure basement parking for 23 cars.
CareFlight works in partnership with the New South Wales Government, Ambulance Service of New South Wales, Motor Accidents Authority of New South Wales and major corporate sponsor, NRMA.
